AC Sky Bar

Elevator doors open straight into the heavy noise on the eighteenth floor of Garland Avenue. You're stepping out of the slow lobby elevator and right into the thick bass thumping against the wide glass panels of AC Sky Bar. It's loud, packed tight with downtown locals holding overpriced drinks, and you can't hear yourself think over the loud electronic set bouncing off the concrete columns.

They've got a narrow wooden bar running along the back wall where busy bartenders pour craft cocktails as fast as they possibly can move their hands. Drinks cost a small fortune because you're paying for the massive view of the city skyline, but nobody's complaining once the golden hour hits the concrete towers outside. The floor gets sticky right near the DJ booth where people squeeze around the small speaker stacks and spill their drinks.

Security stands quietly by the corner exit watching the packed room sway to the heavy beat. You'll find little pockets of people leaning against the glass walls, watching long lines of headlights crawl down Interstate 4 while the massive subwoofers keep shaking the wooden floorboards right beneath your sneakers.
